Our Gossimer CEO, Marvin Dreyer, was interviewed by the Web Host Directory team on February 16, 2009.  He had plenty of great things to say, but it left us piqued for more.  The thing is, Marvin Dreyer is more than just a web-hosting entrepreneur, he created affordable web hosting for your website and has many other projects in the works!

Many times, small businesses choose a web hosting service without trying to get an idea of who is behind it.  That is something that should be avoided as it is better to have a genuine business-to-business relationship (B2B).  An interview isn’t much if it doesn’t get read by the people to whom it is most important to, and in this case that is you!  So in what better way can we connect to our present (and future) clients than by serving up some of his own words?  Here are the highlights of what he had to say:

Current online businesses need to be prepared for the rush of new entrepreneurs in 2009.

This is not an exaggeration!  Even though the economy has had some very hard hits, businesses are springing up every day.  Some of us here at Gossimer are expecting to see the green collar industry take off and the small business sector looking for affordable services such as ours.  Another anticipation we have is that businesses want to know what other businesses are thinking and that they will really appreciate the fact that we are constantly writing on things in our blog.  Hopefully, in doing so, you have bookmarked our website.  And as our CEO team leader says, “Gossimer wants to become a reliable household name that people can depend on, much like Kleenex has become the primary word for tissue when you have a cold.”  Basically, our team’s “Gesundheit” to your “ah-choo” is “Gossimer!”  Okay, okay, it might seem a little silly, but it’s true!  We don’t want you to be frustrated with internet technology and that is why Gossimer has been committed to providing better alternatives to what’s out there.   At Gossimer, we make sure not to exaggerate our offers, nor over-sell our servers.
